Use

How does the MARPEN brush handle work?

A new handle for your traditional brushes that allows you to paint edges of walls, doors, windows and arches or simply to draw circles.
The handle is made up of two parts:
1) A sequence of holes spaced a centimetre apart;
2) A protrusion that functions as a hook and represents the zero point for measuring distances from the wall edges.

Therefore, the hook performs 3 functions:
– It works as a stop
– It works as stabilizer and spacer for traces on doors, windows and arches fixtures
– It is used as brush hanger

  • Take a pencil and place yourself in the lower corner, leaning the end of the brush against the wall on the right or left side.
  • Insert the pencil in the hole you intend to use and slide the brush on the support wall, allowing the pencil to draw the desired trace
  • Remove the pencil and wet the brush in the paint to proceed with the colour profiling

Painting doors and windows edges

To create a door or window edge with the new method, the following steps need to be carried out:

  • Take a pencil and position yourself in the lower corner of the door or window, leaning the hook of the brush handle against the shoulder of the right or left side of this door or window.
  • Insert the pencil into the hole you intend to use and slide the brush over the supporting shoulder, allowing the pencil to trace the edge to be painted.
  • Remove the pencil and wet the brush in the paint to proceed with the colour profiling.

Painting arches edges

To paint an arch edge, thanks to the new Restyle multifunction handle, it is important to follow these steps:

  • Take a pencil and position yourself in the corner under the arch, leaning the hook on the handle against it.
  • Insert the pencil into the hole you intend to use and slide the brush over the lower part of the arch, allowing the pencil to draw the desired trace.

Creating a circle

To trace and paint a circle with the new method, the following steps need to be carried out:

  • Take two pencils, insert the first pencil in one of the first holes that functions as centering point of the circle and the second in the hole that you intend to use to create the desired circle.
  • Turn the second pencil to create the circle trace
  • Remove both pencils and wet the brush in the paint to proceed with the colour profiling
